Want to share my ongoing experience with Club Resorto Vacations Pvt Ltd to help others make informed decisions. I enrolled in their holiday package in December 2023 after being promised a ₹; 2.75 lakh CRP plan with 0% interest on a 24-month EMI and complimentary to-and-fro flight tickets. These benefits, including the free flight tickets, were clearly mentioned in the signed agreement. However, after making an initial payment of ₹; 1.5 lakh and a second payment of ₹; 1.07 lakh the next day, I discovered that I was being charged nearly ₹; 45, 000 in EMI interest—despite being promised a zero-interest plan. This brought my total outflow to over ₹; 3, 01, 000, which is ₹; 26, 962 more than what was agreed upon. Adding to this, Club Resorto later introduced a ₹; 11, 000 cap on the promised flight tickets, which was never mentioned during the sale or in the agreement. My booking was also blocked for weeks due to an incorrect ₹; 18, 000 balance being shown in their system. While they did refund ₹; 13, 487 after repeated follow-ups, the second EMI refund is still pending. After multiple unanswered emails and unfulfilled assurances, I was forced to send a legal notice and file a consumer court case. Despite this, the company has not accepted court summons to date. I am sharing this not just for resolution, but to ensure others don’t go through the same financial and mental distress. Please read every clause, question every verbal assurance, and stay vigilant.
