Well, me & my wife hit coconut groove for dinner this valentines day. Walking along church street with a dilemma whether to jump into Bhimas(Andhra Spl) or into 20ft high(not been there yet, only been to bowling) or into chinese or into Angethi, we happened to see this restaurant and thought why not try this one today.
Well, overall, we had a good time, service was good thoe a bit late(blame it on the crowd that day:). We had Appam, Parotta, Chicken Curry(chettinad style) & then a veg curry(forgot the name thoe!). They were all tasty, served hot and since we had not had mallu style food for quite a while, we enjoyed it.
We had Then Elanir(Coconut water+ Mint+ Honey), it was toooo good and we loved it, that we ordered it twice. Try this guys, you will love it. The ambience is good, tables are not placed too close, so fear of whether people may overhear(unknowingly!:) what you talk is less:).
A good place for sea food lovers & Non vegetarians, vegetarians have limited choice only.
Only thing I found bad is the PRICE, PHEW it blows you off, unless it is a spl day/occassion or if someone else is sponsoring:) you wont prefer it again, only heavy valets feel comfy here. Even the winelist is too heavily priced.
cheers
