I had gingivitis and suffered from oral plaque and gum problem. Once I visited a famous local dentist for scaling (One who has gingivitis needs to do it every year to keep plauque away). He advised me Colgate Total. He told me it has been observed that while an ordinary toothpaste’s action lasts for a few minutes, Colgate Total’s lasts longer. Till then (3-4 years back) I’ve been using it. It has effectively reduced my plaque though it’s not a medicated toothpaste and now I dodn’t need to go to a dentist for scaling every year. My gum problem (Bleeding etc which was related to plaque) is also reduced drastically. It has a strong fluoride taste and produces a lot of foam. the paste also looks contemporary with green stirpes on it’s white body. This product earlier was so high in demand that many a time I had to struggle to get it from retail market. All this without much advertising in media. It still enjoys great demand but now Colgate has fixed the supply issue. It’s available everywhere with more pack sizes. I recommend it to everyone sharing the same problem.
