1) Hotel is in a secluded place and not for people who want the hustle and
bustle of a city. Quite a tranquil location. The beach is 2-3 minutes of
walk and is peaceful and sunny. Sun maybe little hard during midday.
2) I was on a discovery mission so most of the times I was on road and came to
room only by 2300 hrs, except for a day when I spent the whole time in my room.
So I discovered more of Goa than the hotel.
Room amenities are wayward. No phone in most of the rooms.
3) Staff is average, but the restaurant staff is a crappy lot i.e. unfriendly,
rude and food is crap except for the old man in the manager’s desk. There are
nice restaurants near the resort.
4) Booking is cheaper if you go to the resort directly, around INR 400-500.
Online may cost you double of that. Not available during Dec-Jan time.
5) People and families wanting a peaceful holiday, with no trouble. But may
need to venture outside for good food or may enjoy the crap they give in the
restaurant. If you have free breakfast in your booking, then dont just eat the
bread and butter they give you. It also includes an omelette / poori bhaji
which they mention only on asking. Most of the foreigners eat the bread and
butter only. Most of the people are foreigners and expect to find less of
Indians.
