We got our 3BHK flat painted by Colourdrive over Dec-Jan 2017 and would like to share our experience. The people we dealt with(Madhav & Sachin) were very professional and the process was smooth. We were quite happy with the overall experience save some minor issues on post painting cleanup and would highly recommend them to other folks.

Design Consultation:
Madhav was quite knowledgable on the painting choices/materials and provided free consultation on site taking into account our requirements without trying to hike up the bill unnecessarily. They also showed us sample patches of multiple shortlisted materials and were accommodating of changes even post starting the painting process. We ended up using different shades of Royale luxury for most of the regular walls and Royale play stucco for a texture wall
Customer service:
They were very accommodating of our requests for scheduling the painting in two phases(before and after house warming ceremony) which required additional work from their end. They also did an excellent job of covering up all the furniture with paper(twice) and tried their best to correct the errors we pointed out.
Painting work:
The putty work was done quite well. With regards to the painting work, there were a few mistakes(paint seemed too thin initially, debatable choice of water primer esp. for texture wall, paint patches were not scraped before applying new paint etc), but they did their best to correct these issues once we pointed it to them and the final product is fairly presentable and made up for all the initial errors. Our advice to future customers is to make sure you check the painting work after each round and give corrective feedback. We also hope color drive takes input from their customers and trains all their painters on the best practices
Post painting clean up:
This was one area where we were somewhat unhappy. The supervisor(Madhav) was very open to all our suggestions and did his best to get them fixed, but the guys working under him were not that competent. The paint lines around furniture were not perfect and there were paint marks to be cleaned up in multiple places and thinner applied to veneer furniture. After 2-3 rounds of reviewing, they did manage to fix most of the issues, but this is something that definitely could have been done better. We don’t have a reference point to know how their finishing compares with other vendors.
Rates/Billing:
The painting rates(both for regular painting and texture walls) were quite reasonable compared to other vendors that we contacted. Measurement was done via laser and the billing process was very fair and we didn’t have to ask to make any changes. Unlike other vendors, they were not in a hurry to take a huge advance up front and were keen on delivering a good job before asking for the payment.
Misc:
The painting guys were a honest bunch. We didn’t have any problem with losing any existing fixtures etc.
