About 2 weeks ago I had to admit my dad for emergency as his blood sugar fell to dangerously low levels making him semi conscious. While Columbia Asia did revive him by administering IV glucose the followup was very poor - his blood sugar shot to 370 range and then they administered insulin which dropped my dads glucose to very low levels and then was administered glucose again until we put our foot down and demanded he be discharged. They for some rhym or reason keep the patient in hospital for days to just get business I feel. They wanted to keep him for a third day to "stabilize" his sugar level - upon asking what does stabilization mean, the duty doctor had no clear answer. The duty doctor was very immature and inexperienced and only when I sat on her head did she show urgency and required care necessary for a patient. The duty doctor was Dr. Rajini
Columbia Asia is an average hospital you can visit in case of emergency/simple ailments but for specialized treatment that is not the place to be.
The nurses also appeared to be very unhelpful and straight faced and there is a general air of some kind of false arrogance - not sure why!
