Don't read it just before surgery ...

Coma is a book I read a long, long time ago - actually I had minor surgery done in the mid-seventies when the book came out.

It’s really scary; you can’t put it down. Robin’s books are always like that.

Can you just imagine somebody in a hospital taking patients from surgery and making them comatose - then hanging them sleeping on hooks in a room with a bunch of other comatose people?

Well, what the story is about is how a couple investigated their suspicions and brought the thing to the surface.

Yep - it’s a good read - and it’s a good movie too - but not something I’d recommend if you’re having surgery.
