I was using Compaq Presario CQ - 62 laptop few years ago and for quite a few years.
I must say this was the most heaviest laptop I have ever used.
It has an AMD processor and I don’t know why all the laptops in the market with AMD processors heat so much.
The heat management in this laptop was very poor like literally your lap would burn if you use it continuously for 3-4 hours by keeping on your lap.
They overheat as if an electricity generator is running inside the laptop.
The battery backup is very very poor like literally it runs for some 45 min and when the screen notifies user for connecting the charger battery is 20% left, by the time you connect the charger the laptop is dead.
Such is the poor performance of this laptop.
One alternate is to remove the battery from the laptop and use it by continuously connecting the charger as 50% of the reason laptop was getting overheated was because of battery.
The motherboard had an in-built 128 MB graphic memory.
Overall I would not suggest anyone buying this laptop.
