I have been using V3424TU for last 10 months and in these 10 months here is what all fell apart in this model:
Display failed once and was replaced
2/3 USB ports have gone down which leaves me with only 1 USB port
One of the speakers have gone down too
And after all this - my screen is flickering and about to go down once again.
I would not recommend this laptop.
And even if you plan to buy it, make sure that you buy the extended warranty, without which you’d end up paying dearly for genuine hp spares and all.
Avoid buying it unless you just wanna flaunt a glossy machine and not intend to use it much!
One point of repetitive failure is screen hinges. The screen bends back at a lousy about . 125 degrees.
Th good things about this product is that it has smooth looks and is compact. The sound quality of Altec Lansing speakers is good.
