This laptop was given in office to my sister. It is very heavy. Nearly 3 KG. Don’t even imagine to bring it in your back pack. It comes with all miscellaneous accessories like DVD writer but web cam is missing. As it was made a decade ago, it is ok at that time. You can have it in your desktop and do some office work with this laptop. That’s it. It cannot be used for any personal work like movies. As it is very heavy, you cannot simply place it on your lap for a long time.
Track pad is very tiny. You have to swipe thrice to reach edge to edge of the screen. The click buttons in track pad is very loose. The keypad is also OK quality. Not very good. The lid is like 1 inch thickness. It is just like an ancient suitcase that Flinstone used. Battery died almost 3 years back. I changed it and it lasts for 3 hours solidly.
It runs with Windows 7. Don’t even think to upgrade it above Windows 7. This is its limit. Finally, if you are already having it, just use it as an office desktop. If you are planning to buy a Compaq notebook, just change your mind.
