Cleaner Environment

LPG is a very good alternate fuel for Petrol Cars. It is cheaper, running cost about Rs.1/km. Some changes have to be made to your car engine, like reducing spark plug gap, and altering Ignition timing.

Performance wise, except for low initial pickup no major difference. There are diff type of Gas kits available in the market, but one should check the quality by checking the metal pipe(usually copper), and the most imp. is to check the Vapouriser where duplicates rule the market. Overall it is good to install a LPG kit as it is very environmental friendly and cost of running is very low. Also Govt. has regularised the usage of LPG as alternate fuel, but the kits have to be govt. approved and the car fitted with an LPG kit should have the registration marked with the Stamp of’ DUAL FUEL CAR’ by the local RTO. These approved are expensive and cost approx. 25000/-.
