The site is most attractive with a white background and a menu on the left hand side. You can look at sections such as Gift Ideas, Wedding Registry, Buying Goods, Theme Shops, Special Values and there is a very user friendly search facility. Wanna know how to prepare Afghan bread? You will probably find the answer here.
You can search for recipes by name or by keyword and there is extensive international coverage. Other very useful features include a daily menu planner, a weekly menu planner and loads and loads of good ideas and suggestions for gifts.
When I last surfed this site, which incidentally is very easy to navigate, I came across a number of succinct but most readable articles. There was a piece entitled Plan Your Party which gave very helpful hints and ideas for having a successful party. Another piece Silly Summer Snacks gave the reader very helpful suggestions for making fun foods that would keep the kids very happy. Then there was an excellent round-up article called Choice Cuts for Grilling. This looked into the likes of Angus beef, steaks, fillets prime ribs etc and how to cook them.
Looking for kitchen appliances, cookware, the latest in cutlery, crockpots, grills or slow cookers ? Well Cooking.com has a lot of these on offer which I guess are useful for US visitors but probably less so for Indian visitors because of the costs of post and packaging. Still it is full of good ideas.
This US site is an excellent place to visit if you are a bit of a foodie. You can learn a lot and it is a most user friendly and informative site to visit. It gets a very big thumbs-up from this reviewer !
