Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone from Amazon India

I have purchased my Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone from Amazon India on 1st February 2016. This item was sold by Cloudtail India Private Limited. My order Number was 404-6859140-3679519. My Invoice Number is HR-DEL2-144105041-5810328. I had to pay Rs. 8999.00 for Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone to buy it from Cloudtail India Private Limited by Cash-on-delivery mode. On 10th June 2017, I had deposited my Coolpad Note 3 due to “Hang on Coolpad”. My Job Sheet Number was JS17061000882. I was told that it was a minor fault and they would reset my Android OS to solve this issue.


Therefore I had deposited my Coolpad Note 3 smartphone to this service center named as “Ganpati Cellulars” which is located at “G-3, Smriti Dham Building, Adjacent to Punjab National Bank, Sevoke Road, Siliguri-734001, District: Darjeeling, State: West Bengal, Country: India". I revisited this service center on the next day to collect my mobile phone but they did not able to delivery my mobile phone due to they were unable to reset my mobile phone in factory setting mode with a new “Android Marshmallow OS”. I told this customer representative at authorize service center of Coolpad India that my mobile phone runs on “Android KitKat” and there is no necessary to upgrade my Android OS from “Android KitKat OS” to “Android Marshmallow OS” if it was not supported. I did not get my mobile phone on the next day and I revisited this service center after next week. But I was told that Mainboard of my Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone was damaged and I had to wait at least 1 or 2 weeks to collect my mobile phone for this major fault.


But I was suspicious about their behavior because I had deposited my mobile phone due to slow booting and they reported this fault as “Hang on Coolpad” issue which was written on “Service Job sheet Description” and it was a normal problem due to 1 year old Smartphone. I requested this service center representative to send my Coolpad Note 3 to factory if they had no solution at their level. But they did not give my mobile phone after 3 weeks and thereafter “Ganpati Cellulars, Siliguri” demand Rs. 4000.00 from me to collect my mobile phone to replace its Main Circuit Board.


Thereafter I contact Coolpad Note 3 customer care service also and they told me that it was written as “ready to delivery” option on my Job Sheet Number JS17061000882 and they had no idea about to replace my Mainboard issue that was told by this customer service representative of “Ganpati Cellulars, Siliguri” to me. So, it was obvious that they damaged the Main Circuit Board of my Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone after making different type of so called experiment and I had to give Rs. 4000.00 to collect my mobile phone with no alternative way. I wanted to know the actual price of Mainboard of Coolpad Note 3 from Customer Care Service of Coolpad India Limited and they informed me that it was more than Rs. 5000.00 with a limited warranty. I was suspicious to know that I had to pay Rs. 4000.00 instead of Rs. 5000.00 for a newer one. So, it was a game plain to replace it with an old Mainboard and “Ganpati Cellulars, Siliguri” did not informed Coolpad India Limited also for this dirty practice after completely damage my Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone. After viewing with no option to find this solution, I was agreed to pay Rs. 4000.00 but I requested to give my limited warranty card along with bill because I had to pay Rs. 4000.00 for this alternative Mainboard with a new IMEI number. But I was told that they did not give any warranty card and I have to take a high risk if this replaced Mainboard would not working at all. On 13th July 2017, I took my mobile phone without any repairing because of non-issuing of Warranty Card for this purpose. My hard earned money was completely lost due to this type of inefficient Customer Care Service Center of “Coolpad India Limited”. It was a very bad experience in my lifetime. Now, I am requesting Coolpad India Limited to send a collection agent to my home after viewing details in my Retail Invoice Number: HR-DEL2-144105041-5810328 to collect my Coolpad Note 3 at free of cost. Do not worry because I do not want any kindness from “Coolpad India Limited” to received new “Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone”. In my personal opinion, it is better to avoid any Smartphone from Coolpad India Limited. I have lost my hard earned Rs. 8999.00 after using only 1 year with this Chinese smartphone. I have purchased this Coolpad Note 3 after viewing the reviews at YouTube that it was the first Smartphone below Rs. 10000.00 that offers Fingerprint Sensors along with other specifications. Therefore, I decided to buy this Coolpad Note 3 for Rs. 8999.00 from Amazon India. But I have faced different type of problems after purchase this mobile phone from Coolpad India Limited. Some of the well-known problems of Coolpaid Smartphone are as mentioned below:


(1) It is falsely advertised that Coolpad Note 3 memory is expandable up to 64GB but I have purchased Samsung EVO Plus Class 10 64GB MicroSDXC 100 MB/S Memory Card with SD Adapter but it does not supports. Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone only supports FAT 32 based MicroSD card.


(2) It supports LTE only but it does not supports Volte 4G based Reliance Jio 4G Service. It does not supports dual 4G SIM simultaneously.


(3) It gets very hot within 15 minutes after playing any VR based apps along with 360 degree YouTube Audio-Video although it has gyroscope sensors.


(4) Inbuilt speaker with microphone is not manufactured with very high qualities materials.


(5) Frequent disconnection from Wi-Fi hot spots.


(6) Poor Signals reception at FM Radio makes too much noise.


(7) RAM is 3 GB but RAM management is not very good. More than 1 GB of RAM is occupied often by running Android apps on Background.


(8) Audio Video Calling is not very smooth on Reliance Jio 4G service.


(9) More of the Apps does not move to any FAT 32 based MicroSD card.


(10) Non removable lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 3000 mAH only with no quick charge features. It takes too much time although it does not have above 4000 mAH lithium-ion battery.


(11) 3D viewing experience in VR headset is too much pixelated due to it does not supports Full HD graphics.


(12) Inbuilt memory is only 16 GB although only 10 GB is usable after 1st use and it will be reducing day by day after upgrading of Android Apps automatically. At least 32 GB memory should be given because it runs on Android KitKat OS only so MicroSD card cannot be formatted as internal memory to merged Phone memory with MicroSD card for increasing memory as like as on Android Marshmallow OS based formatting system.


(13) Most of the apps cannot be moved to MicroSD card also.


(14) F2.0 aperture based Camera of Coolpad Note 3 Smartphone is good in day with bright light condition but it is not satisfactory in night with low light condition.


(15) Incompatibility of running Daydream apps due to outdated Android OS. Coolpad Smartphone is running always old Android OS and Coolpad India forget to release regular updated patch for their old user due to poor after sales service.


(16) Coolpad India customer care service is not very professional and they never care with initiative for after sales service in India. Their motive is to sales Coolpad Smartphone at anyhow in India without any establishment of good quality service center. Most of the YouTube reviewer gets free review unit and their reviews is not trustable too. Coolpaid India prefer to give free Coolpaid Smartphone to YouTube reviewer to boost their sales and forget to give service to the actual buyer. Buyers will be always victimized and they lost their entire money. More than 1 million Coolpad Smartphone was sold in India but Coolpad India have opened less than 1 service center per 1 million people in India. In India their service center is located in big cities only but Service Center of Coolpad India is far below than 1000 number in India although they have sold 1 million Coolpad Smartphone in India.


I have already lost my entire amount of Rs. 8999.00 that I had to spend to buy this Smartphone and I do not want to make this same mistake again. My Smartphone was compromised to different type of experiment made by unprofessional so called technician at authorized service center of Coolpad India. My Coolpad Note 3 smartphone was damaged completely and it is just a dummy handset now. I am requesting Coolpad India Limited to send your agent at my home and collect my spoiled Smartphone at free of cost with a zero liability to return me with a new one because I have lost my entire faith to Coolpad India Limited. In my opinion to everyone is that please rethink twice to save money before purchase any Smartphone from Coolpad India Limited. Electronic products may be damage at any time due to different types of major faults or minor faults and no Smartphone manufacturers can give us 100 percent assurance that their Mobile phones run for lifetime and they do not need to improve the quality of service center for this purpose. Customer’s satisfaction feedback should be given priority always on after sales for any product. It is better to boycott this type of Chinese Company because they are looting hard earned money of poor Indian without established good quality customer service center for after sales service in India.
