Hi Guys, Today I am giving a review on my favorite holiday spot in South India that is Coorg. This is situated in western ghats of Karnataka.
I went to coorg three years back from Bangalore. I went to visit this place with my friends. I love this spot you can feel the nature and you can just see emerald green every where till your eye sight. this is the coolest place I have ever visited. This is also known as "SCOTLAND OF INDIA’.
It has rolling hills, forest area and the coffee plantations on hills. This area is also famous for coffee plantation because this climate suits for growing coffee plants. This place Coorg is famous for Cold coffee.
The climate of this place is very suitable for people who love trecking, Long drives and hill climbing. This climate give you very pleasant and peaceful mind and make you feel relaxed.
The accesibility to this place is very easy. You can visit this place easily from Mangalore, Bangalore and Mysore. This is very near from Mangalore and you can find buses to this place from any of the places like Mangalore, bangalore and Mysore.
The local sightseeing is good and you find so many beautiful places to visit around this Coorg. The places like omkareswar temple, bhramagiri hills, pushpagiri hills etc.
There are beautiful waterfalls in coorg and this scenic beauty is just mind blowing. the hotels and accommodation are available at Coorg. We booked our rooms at club Mahindra and stayed for 2 days. I love the hotel we stayed and they provided all the facilities. I love this place and this is my all time favorite tourist spot.
The government of Karnataka provide all safety measures at this tourist place Coorg. And people also should take care while trecking, hill climbing etc. This is very good place to visit even in summers. Because in summers also the temperature ranges between 14-29 C only.
