I love visiting Copper Chimney(Goregaon) especially during lunch hours. They have a spectacular spread of Mughali delicacies with some Gujarati and Punjabi dishes thrown in for some variety. They have a combination of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes to suit your needs.
They also have the a la carte option but I strongly recommend you opt for the buffet. The buffet serves a host of dishes and is totally worth the money. Ranging from mutton gravies, chicken gravies, paneer dishes, stir fried vegetables to varieties of vegetable preparation. The dessert counter is a treat to the sore eyes. Here they expand their mughali menu and include cheecakes, cupcakes, brownies along side the mithais, ras malais, phirnis, rabdi and gulab jamus.
If you are still not convinced and want to go for a la carte. I would recommend the dum Biryani, butter chicken and copper chimney’s trademark cheese kulchas. They are absolutely yummy.
The decor is Indian- esque complimenting the food. The service is alright. It maybe a slightly expensive but on special occasions you can let yourself indulge.
