A tale of a scrutiniser

Who cannot expect a great deal out of mr madhur bhandarkar (especially after seeing page 3), I would not say that I disliked the movie and infact iam a great good cinema fan so no matter whetehr its hardcore front bencher sort of movie or smita patil types if I like the movie then I say bluntly. although I would really appreciate his efforts in showing the reality at the gorund level and what actually goes through the system, but suddenly I have started feeling that Bhandarkar uses the same sort of narrative format in all his films .As i compared both of his films there was a narrator who was like a story teller in the back, in page three car driver of big shots were used to throw light upon realism and here common office clerics were used like when they talk with each other .

As in page three there was one female main protagoinst so was in corporate and both of them had a bitter luck in love(one’s boyfriend was a cheat and anothers got killed) and also both the protagonist were victims and both of them had a very pessimistic end( that is both suffered in the hands of the system), moreover Bhandarkar films show the realism no doubht about it but as a common person we all know the TRUTH. What we are intersted in is the SOLUTION, where is the solution honey? I mean he could have shown how bipasha fought back it could have given some rays of hope and we could have sum up that if you are on the right track you will achieve victory, and also there is one more common thing that in both the systems there was one MEDIOCRE that is the perosn is ethical and virtutous and empathise with the character but he has his mouth tied up. Like in page three there was BOMAN IRANI as an editor who knew what konkana was upto and supported her till the end but couldn’t defend him and has to loose her as a good journalist (offcourse after alot of tears shedded for her) and here the guy’s name I hjave forgotten but he was the right hand of this very modern entrepreneur who went to a pimp(again I have forgotten his name too) but when he insisted on launching kola even after knowing that it was extremely hazardous for the health, then he left the job but promised in return that he would stay mum and he kept mum even after seeing the plight of Bipasha, now what does it show it shows that mr Bhandarkar wants to depict that there are plethora of people who disagrees with the system and knows what right or wrong and they are good at heart but they have to be practical enough to feed thier families and not take panga with this big wig system

Now I loved the story line up the way they were projected etc etc but one thing as a creative person myslef I expect versatality out of every being mr Bhandarkar is a deep analysist and scrutniser of the system but one thing he can try to projetc the realsim in a very different way, iam not saying this because I just dont like his movies and I have got no other work but to criticise people, iam saying this in order to see his multi dimensional perosnalities and that is what we are all waiting for to even convince people in a non traditional style
