A timeless classic

There are some books about which we forget over time and after a certain period of time we cant even remember their names. And then there are the books which are so good, they forces us to think for many nights after we have finished reading them and we tell about them to our friends.

Cosmos belongs to the second category. Cosmos is a book that changes the way we see the world around us. The book covers many diverse topics like the beginning of mankind, science, nature, astronomy, physics, history, biology and even philosophy and tackles each topic very well, it leaves us satisfied but still wanting for more.

We wonder where we came from and where are we headed. The book is extremely well written. The writer was an adviser to NASA for the Voyager missions.

He was a Pulitzer prize winning astronomer, astrophysicist, cosmologist and author. Cosmos is the second bestseller book of all times written by a scientist (the first being The Brief History Of Time By Hawking)... but Cosmos is not a book about astronomy, not even science, it is about humanity.

The development of science and civilization and various things which  ... Cosmos won many book awards including Hugo award for best non fiction. This is a book which will answer all the questions that you ask about the world, about our beginning and evolution.

It is very well written and everyone can understand it even if they do not have extensive scientific knowledge, This is a book that will change the way you understand life and humans.
