Hi All, Even I’m a victim of country vacations fraud … Taken Membership from Bellandur Branch, Bangalore by aishwaryasingh23ing 100, 000/- for membership(No: CVBG1CLUB5LB199008) in April 2015. Similar to others they promised many things which after aishwaryasingh23ment done they never confirmed that I will get those benefit… and also some of the services like Converting to EMI & Free Summer camp for kids etc…
Failed in the first few weeks . Currently I have filed a case against country vacations. Please don’t lose additional money, people in consumer court are quiet friendly you can approach them directly and check if you have any queries. Here’s what I did to file a complaint.
1) Send a formal E – mail to CV marking all the departments… telling them your concern and ask for the response for the same(Give at least 7 days’ time for their response).
2) If you are not happy with their response or if you don’t get any response, then send E mail and also formal letter with acknowledgment option to their head office and the branch where you had taken the membership demanding for cancellation and refund(Give at least 2 weeks’ time for them to respond). 3) I’m sure that you will not receive any response…. Before you take any actions send a reminder on cancellation to them through e mail.
4) Now that you have not got any response from country vacations, go ahead and start collecting evidences to file a case in consumer forum(court). 5) Evidences like – showcasing what services they have failed, copies showcasing that you have approached them, copies of cancellation mail, and acknowledgement copies of the letter posted, agreement copies, and membership details as promised, aishwaryasingh23ment receipt etc… 6) Procedure to file a case in consumer forum(court) in Bangalore. a. Write your complaint and take print out in a legal size paper(Mail me to get format for the same). b. If you go in person to file the case then no need of any notary or affidavit. c. Enclose all your evidence in annexures and place it in order as per your complaint. d. Sign all the pages( Annexures not required) e. You need to take DD(Check for the amount by calling up consumer court – very minimal charges applicable like if compensation amount is upto 5 lakhs then you need to take DD for 200/- Rs) f. You need to give 3 set of all the pages to court and additional copies to the opposite parties.(Eg: if you need to send notice to head office and branch then there are 2 opposite parties to you so make 2 set of copies to opposite parties plus 3 set of copies to consumer court.) g. Get number of envelops with acknowledgement letter based on the number of opposite parties you have mentioned.(will get it in post office) h. Add stamps to the envelops based on the weight of each set.(Check in post office) i. Go to consumer court and submit all the above to file the complaint in court. Next day you will get your complaint number and hearing date. Everyone have to take some step to stop these people to do unfair trade practices, I have started what about you guys… Thought of helping others for clearing there doubts on filing the case…. Many think they can’t do anything and lose hope to fight. For all those please believe in our judiciary system and let us fight until we get our money back from the fraud companies like Country Vacation or CCIL or Country club India limited etc… I’m thinking of different ways to spread this across … to build awareness.
