Country Club Fraud

We went to a shopping mall and we dropped our number in lucky draw, We got a random call that we won 30k worth gifts in lucky draw. We were not willing to go and pick the gifts but the representative might have called around 20-30 times to come and collect the gifts. We asked the representative that  there are no presentations or any other links to buy remembers they said no sir, just come and pick your gifts. when we went there they said its 1 hour presentation, you have to tell your decision then and there.


The offer of country club started from 3, 00, 000 lakhs and they negotiated till 1, 50, 000 with lot of other gifts, lateri got to know that the membership fee varies from customer to customer on your negotiation skills.They negotiate with people to  to pay almost entire membership money on the spot, if you say you dont have cash or check they provide lot of options like credit card and emi without interest(which is not true). I have paid half of the amount on the spot, but now after reviews I have decided to not to pay the remaining amount.  Is there anyway that I can get the amount that I paid.


Country club representative was calling me and asking me to pay the remaining 50% of the amount, when I said I am not going to pay they said you will loose the amount that you already paid, that shows that they want to loote the money but not interested in customers and services. How can they just take such a huge money from people without cancellation options if we dont like to pursue further without using the card or their benefits.


Even bus and train tickets flight tickets have cancellation options but country club doesn’t have once you pay the money that’s it. if they are genuine I dont understand why do they need to call and inform customers that you just got gifts, they never give a day to think and come back not even for paying the money you have to pay some amount, of course they trap you to pay the full amount on the spot.
