I am one of the person who got cheated by CCIL.. When we went for shopping in big malls like Forum, Shoppers stop, Garuda mall..There was group of Country Vacations marketing people at the exit point. They give a pen (worth of 1 rupee) for free and asked to fill lucky coupon.
After a week I got a call from country club saying “you have won the lucky draw and you have to come to Country Vacations at Shivaji Nagar to collect free gifts, and a free holiday voucher to any of the country club in India for 4 days/5 nights.”. They also told we have we have to collect gift on the same day.
I was very happy because I won lucky draw. I went to Country Vacations at Shivaji Nagar to get the voucher and free gifts at the same day.
At Country Vacations at Shivaji Nagar:
I went inside Country Vacations and I saw many pairs inside speaking to CV marketing people (all chairs were full and we waited for 30 mins in the reception). I was little sad as I was feeling that only I won the lucky draw.CV marketing person asked us to take small presentation before collecting gifts.
*False Promises.
*In his presentation he made below false promises.
Ø Use of any CC(country club) in india.
Ø Stay at any CC in India is free on booking for members.
Ø Yearly one trip to any of the CC in India(coupons and anyone can use it).
Ø Free use of Moksh(Steam bath, Jacquie, massages(including oil…..), Gym, Yoga…) at Sarjapur branch.
Ø 20% discount on food for members at any CC.
Ø Monthly magazine of CC to your home address.
Ø Food festivals frequently and many more...
He impressed us a lot by showing pictures and many exciting things and offers.I impressed very much by his presentation and I wanted to take member ship so that we can for trips on week ends and holidays and take regular massages.Finally I took membership (60, 000) there. They gave us temporary card to use it until we get the original card.
Cheap Gift Vouchers:
They gave a free holiday voucher to any CC in India and a gift box(nice packed weighing around 10 kgs and size 2* 2 feet). As it was very difficult to carry gift voucher by bike, we took auto from Shivajinagar to Sarjapur Road and paid 100 rs for auto.After reaching home we opened the gift pack and finally we found a small set of juice glasses inside which costs less than I paid for auto (100 rs).
Bad experience at Sarjapur CC on first day:
We entered country club in sarjapur road using temporary cards and started seeing one by one. I shocked seeing the swimming pool. It was under construction and they told it takes 2 months to complete it. I was little disappointed there. After seeing everything we have planned to take oil massage, He asked me to fill a form and come to massage room. He asked me 1300 for oil massage as we are not holding original cards of CC. We were completely disappointed with that and went back.
Fact is we have to pay for massage even if we have original membership cards.
Shocking Rules to Book hotel or resort:
After 3 months taking membership, I called CC customer care to book CC resort at Goa. They told they will get back to me by ne day. I didn’t get any response for 2 days. I have called customer care after 2 days. She (Latha, from reservation group sits at Shivaji Nagar office) asked me if I have paid yearly maintenance of 3K. She told I can book any CC resorts or hotels only after paying maintenance fees. As it was only 3 months I was not ready to pay and I booked private hotel.
Fact is we can book CC resorts or hotels only once in a year.
My CAUTION for all who are planning to become CC member
You will get a call for Country Vacations or CC saying“you have won the lucky draw and you have to come to Country Vacations to collect free gifts, and a free holiday voucher to any of the country club in India for 4 days/5 nights.” Please never go to collect gifts even you are getting it for free as it is waste and worth < 100 rs. Even if you go there don’t get impressed by there presentation and become member as they give all false promises.
Don’t attend at least a call from Country Vacations or CC. All above information written above is my experience in 6 months after becoming a member of CC. Still I have many bad experiences in CC. I need one full day to write all my bad experience at CC L I am also planning to file a case in Consumer Court against CC because same thing should not happen for others who become members.

Note: There are small clubs in Bangalore charges 5-7k P/A which gives same facilities as CC . It is better to use those clubs
