Hi am vishnu, based in Bangalore, Recently I got into this trap, one lady called me and told you have won some gift vouchers worth 25000 INR she introduced me as Teju, I repeatedly asked her is this a free gift which company is giving this, she told its completley free, and when I asked company many times finally she mentioned cvinternational I checked this I came to know cv international is logistic company cheating first step, so I thought I will go and see while texting she mentioned need to got to address and tell her name there is presentation of 40 minutes, which was not mentioned earlier then I can collect gift this is what they told, I reached there with my wife, 1.5 year old kid and my brother. they started asking about travel interest we thought its survey kind of things, later they told about there vacation packages and club membership, they started from a plan of 2, 98000 including foreign trips and life time club membership, I told I don’t have that much money to spend, then they came down with package 42000 INR, they told will get 25 days of holidays and benifits, including club membership. I was about to check about this company in google but they asked me are you busy with phone I thought its not good manners to check phone while talking, so that was my first mistake otherwise I would have rethink.
main point was I was agred to this 42000 package they told I can make it emi they only did everything so totally it was 49750 INR including 24 months emi.
they told I will get confirmation call just got it infront of them, before listening to that they told me tell yes yes .
some point in the discussion they mentioned about the term AMC 9999 INR when they discussed about the higher package . but also for my small package they didn’t mention that I was not even thought AMC stands for Annual Maintanance Charge may be lack of my knowledge, very next day I got confirmation call they mentioned about my benifits and package it was totally different including Maintance charge, so representative told me to contact bangalore executive, I told my concern I was totally lost I told them if you can’t return money atleast try sale option which was mentioned in the agreement. Customer care manager agreed that, also I sent request by email, Diwali holidays was there so he told me to wait, he was very nice to me, later I got message saying my card is processed I called again I told them already spoke to manager he will do sale option then manager called me again arguing that they mentioned before 2 years time for sale of the card, I rechecked recap sheet I couldn’t see any such info also there is cool off period mentioned in that to confirm I called them they told cool off period is 10 days I can cancell if I didnt use any service, so actually I can avail that option cos I requested them very next day. really need to fight against this people I am from middle class don’t want to loose hard earn money. need support
