I would like to share my experience with Country vacations club which is happened yesterday.
Day before sday we got a call saying you won some gift in lucky draw.You filled this lucky draw in Brand factory.This is a verification call. They asked where we are working, designations, some bla bla bla.
Sday evening again we got a call saying confirmation call to collect gift. They asked us to come tomo. But we said we wont be available tomorrow. So they said ok come today itself and collect your gift. They said you have won 30k gift. In that 5k worth kitchen sets, 24k worth travel package including day pass to country club. We asked should we pay money for this? They said no need to give a single rupee. They called both of us to come to collect gift. They said to collect gift, criteria should be married. We decided not to give single rupee and decided to go since it was only half an hour from our place.
We reached there after searching their address. Like us many couples had come. When we entered, in the reception, they said, there will be a presentation for one hour after that you can collect your gifts. Also they asked are we couples or collegues?That time only we understood that, marriage is not the mandatory criteria.We decided to sit and hear presentation.It was an individual presentation.
She started at 7 end ended at 8. At the starting she said out of 50000, we drew 500 family. You are among one. You will get country club pass, 24k worth holiday package and kitchen sets. Also she said among these 500, will select 115 lucky ones for them we will give superb package in discounted prices.If you win then only you can get this.
In the presentation she said we will offer you some card(I don’t remember the name of that).You can use it wherever the trip you go to avail accommodation. We were really got shocked. We were thinking how it s possible. That too in 5 star, 4 star hotels accommodation free. We really got shocked. Then she said you just need to pay 4000 to avail holiday package, since its a tax that’s why you need to pay.
After that they showed some big big resorts pics and said accommodation will be in that resorts only. We have resorts almost in all places in INDIA and foreign countries.Accommodation will be free for you guys some blab la they said. We said ok we will check. After giving all information(screwing) she called her manager. He came and started to explain about the offer.He said there are 2 offers.
1.We have to pay 2, 25, 000--?life time validity?if we select this, accommodation is free in every 5 star 4 star hotels. Food is 20-30% discount.Travel will be free. Guide will be there to guide. Also separate vehicle will be provided to each family to maintain privacy for life time.
2.we need to pay 1, 10, 000-5 years validity- if we select this, accommodation is free in every 5 star 4 star hotels. Food is 20-30% discount.Travel will be free. Guide will be there to guide. Also separate vehicle will be provided to each family to maintain privacy for 5 years.
Along the above 2 offers free country club member ship which is of 1, 25, 000 for free :P for 365 days in a year :P
Decision must be given at that time only. This offer is available only for today, you should decide now itself and take the decision.-reason given by them :P
We refused for the offers. First they forced us to take life time offer which is of 2, 25, 000. If we pay whole amount now itself we’ll get LCD 22 inch Sony Bravia (of course since they get 2, 25, 000 aramse they can give Bravia worth 15k :P)They said down payment should be 30% after giving full amount we can avail the offers that means we can go for trip(2 weeks a year trip that too for foreign countries).Also said if we go for 3 days trip next time we can go for remaining days trip out of 14 days).This package includes 4 members of a family. Also they said if we feel we don’t want this, then we can give as a rent or sell to friends.Also they said we will get party halls for free cos of this membership cards. We can sell this to our friends….
We dint agree for either options.We dint agree for 30k .Finally he said ok now you pay 10k since this offers ends today you have to pay at least 10 k.That’s enough.We directly said no we wont pay. She tried a lot convince. But we dint agree. Then she said, ok I informed them to cancel.We will give you a feed back form. You fill and can leave. But mail has to come from Hyderabad. It will take another 5 min. From 8 to 8.40 we waited for feed back form.with in that time she again tried a lot to convince us.
But we dint agree only.Finally she left.Actually the feed back form was on a table which was just behind us. She lied in that also.Finally we got a glass set (cheap glass set that too defected), Country club some pass(I m not sure whether country club guys allow or not with that :P) and a holiday package statement which is of 25k (BAKWAS one). All gifts we got were bakwas. I am sure if we go with that definitely they will throw us out :P :P
In the Call they dint inform us that we are calling from COUNTRY VACATIONS other wise I would read the review and would not have gone and would not have wasted our weekend.
Thank God we dint get cheated by them. After coming to home I read the review…and thanked GOD :P.Advise to all that please don’t get cheated by them.I wonder why big baazar and brand factory guys allow them inside their premises?If they wont allow so many families money would be saved.
