We were a part of your ’European experience’ tour started from April 19th from Cochin I write this to inform you of certain very bad experiences we had during the trip. We make ourselves a part of a tour group so that a lot of hassles are taken care of and we think we will be looked after by a professional agent. We believed in Cox and Kings and its 250 yrs legacy, but we were thoroughly disappointed I will enumerate our bad experiences 1. We proceeded to Brussels from London in a coach .
We were supposed to stay in Brussels after an orientation tour of the city that day, as per itinerary and as per the words of the tour manager till we reached Brussels. We spent exactly 15 mts in Brussels as a toilet break. Tour manager didn’t know or he told he didn’t know where we are going to stay that night. Later he announced we are not staying and is proceeding to Antwerp, another 21/2 hrs journey and we reached hotel at 8 30 PM totally tired. A day totally wasted. We were supposed to venture into that beautiful city of Brussels on our own that day. 2. Proceeded to Paris next day early morning in the coach. Reached Paris at 2 PM for lunch. Again sitting in the coach and hunting for the hotel. Manager went to two places before he could find out the right place we were supposed to stay. We were put up in Orly, far away from the city in an airport motel by 6 30 PM. We were staying in Paris but could not venture into the city of lights or city that never sleeps as we were far away. 3. **From Paris to Geneva by TGV. This was the most horrible journey I had in my life. When we tried to occupy the seats as per the tickets distributed by your manager, it was already occupied. It was not for me and my wife alone but for majority of persons of our group.
Ticket examiner clarified the tickets we had, is not been paid by your company. The whole journey, we were sitting couched near the toilet. This trains are not designed for persons to stand and travel. So it was a first in my life , a journey with a fraud ticket and sitting couched near the toilet for four hours in the fastest train in Europe. I assure you, your company will have to pay for this ’experience’ we had. 4. From Geneva on to Chamonix. We had no delays anywhere and had a smooth journey and reached Chamonix by 4 30 PM. We had an optional tour to Mt blanc that day. Cable cars to Aiquille du midi is only till 4 PM. Your company and the tour manager thought, they made a fool of us. We were just brought to Chamonix to sleep in a hotel and proceed to Switzerland next day.
The whole group rioted. Imagine we all are in holiday and we were shouting in unison at your tour manager in a foreign land. Changed the itinerary and we forced us to take us to Aiquille du midi next day. 5. In Paris, your itinerary clearly mentioned an optional tour to Louvre Museum. But your manager cancelled that option on his whims and instead suggested Disney tour to all. Imagine coming to Paris and not visiting Monalisa. But luckily we went on our own and ended up paying only 9 Euros instead of paying 90 Euros for the option. I have many more to elaborate but I am not mentioning petty things like bad food and lousy hotels We went on a holiday spending huge amount of money but was tricked Our tour manager Mr Mayank didn’t know the basics of communication.
