It was a worst ever experience I had with Cox and Kings. They are said to be in this field of tours and travels for the past two and a half centuries, but not fit to claim so.
Last year we decided to go for a trade fair at Germany. They people approached as saying that they organize for group travel to the trade fair. They got the advance money three months in advance and said these are the documents required to be submitted by us. We prepared those papers as per their requirement and submitted them. They wanted to have the visa appointment just a month in advance to the date of travel but, insisted to pay the remaining amount in advance. And we pain the full amount. They said you need to carry them and get the visa from the embassy. When we went to the embassy to our surprise "the documents were not satisfactory to issue a visa" said the officer. It was due to a careless work of the cox and kings representative. We came again to Cox and Kings and re-submitted the documents after correction by them Again it took 10 days to get an appointment and this effort also was in vain and our visa application got rejected due to improper documentation. Why do we go to a travel agent to get a visa, in a belief that he is in this field for so many years and he has experience of preparing or organizing the required documents. The pettiest part is that the applicant had been to those Chengan countries earlier with a Chengan Visa, for which the visa has been rejected. Then unfortunately the trade fair has ended the date when we got an visa appointment and we were not able to go for it.
Then came to light the real intension of Cox and Kings. They said though you have not traveled your money can’t be paid back fully, as the cost of booking and accommodations booked for you has to be born by you. Which was about 40% of the whole cost of the package. It is pure cheating. They started blaming the embassy for their **carelessness and inability.**
Like wise many fall prey to their trap. We ended-up paying money for nothing. Beware of such fraudulent people with centuries of history. This is my own experience.
