I have the Zen stone. My brought it from the US. It costed about 40USD which was about 1600 then. It costed about 3200 INR at the same time. I have been using this babe for the last 1 year now. It is very handy and you dont need big space to carry this over. The sound output is not equivalent to the Apple ipod but the usability in terms of transferring songs and data is really good and simple. I have been using this in very harsh conditions like rains or places where there is a lot of moisture. But I have had no issues with that.
I have had problems with the baby twice though. The green light would just remain lit and it would simply not work. Both the times I got some excellent support from the support page of Creative systems. I downloaded a software for free and installed on my laptop. IT downloaded the latest update and upgraded the firmware on the Zen stone automatically. It was cool. The performance increased in terms of staring time drastically. But the charging time had increased, the same got fixed in the second release. I use this player in the Car and charge it in office using my laptop.
I understand that the Zen stone plus has a sound recorder, speaker and display.
Overall I would recommend this product for all students and others who are looking for a reasonably priced MP3 player which does not compromise on the quality. No one has been able to pack so many features for such low prices.
