Though Cricket is famous in half the world but is not completely recognized in US as a sport.Recently there was a series played about 2years ago between India and Australia in America but it did not have any effect on the people of US cause there were no proper sponsers and the result being zero. Fortunately the neighbouring country, Canada recognizes this sport.The main reason of cricket not being encouraged in US cause there is played a similar game to cricket and that everybody know is Baseball, but this game is being played in India quiet well so why not cricket in US .This I feel should be an appeal to the ICC and definitely try to popularize the sport inUS.
