Predictions and Analysis on Indo-Pak tour

This is a prediction on Indo-Pak tour and analysis on some of the Indian batters.

Well guys, if I go by patriotism, first and foremost thing that prompts me of saying is INDIA will definitely win and win comfortably. To be more even I would rather say that India will win the one-day series 3-2 and the Test series 1-0. I have sufficient evidence to support my instincts, infact we all have Australian tour as enough evidence to predict that India will definitely go on to win the series. But Indians are very unpredictable when comes to playing Pakistan, because they know the very nac of throwing away the match at crucial junctures.

No hard feeling against Indian Players but its true. But lately we have come out of that phase to certain extent just because Indians now understood that to win it has to perform as a cohesive unit rather than relying on the genius of Tendulkers........Credit must go to some very fine young players who have forced their way into the Indian team.

As far as I am concerned this will be the pressure game rather than being a text book cricket. We all know that Pakistan is carrying immense pressure and will be on them. Because, if they loose this series, Pakistani parliament will have one and only one agenda at their hand i.e. ’’How did Pakistan loose to India’’, as if, Pakistan was born to win. Their will be enquiry commissions, firing of some important players from the Pakistani team and last but not the least rattling of Pakistani cricketer’s mansions etc. Such is the intense nature of Pakistanis and full credit to them because everybody has its unique way of expressing their feelings and emotions. It is indeed a better way to do it.. After all, the world must know what Pakistanis are capable of. So the pressure is definitely on Pakistan.

Coming to some of our Indian Players................ Sehwag, he is indeed an explosive player but he needs to understand that his aggressiveness is doing more harm than good. Because he is getting out cheaply in one-dayers and tests, as well. He is much better player than this. No doubt, no opening batsmen was successful in Australia after Gavasker, but he needs to carry on the good job, he must be made to realize that a player is good, only if, he does good to a team. He needs to change his attitude as far as aggressiveness is concerned. The performance in the VB series was dismal. The good thing that happened to him is getting engaged to a beautiful Delhi girl, this might calm his nerves a bit. So he is out of my book of man of the series title.

Coming to Laxman, he is immaculate. I seriously regret my decision of not taking his autograph when he was sitting in the gymkhana grounds(Hyderabad), India. He had just appeared on the International screen then. I thought he cannot sustain the international pressure and I walked away from him. Sorry, if some body is Laxman’s fans, but lately I did joined the list of his fans. He will be one among the contenders for the man of the series title with Rahul.

Rahul, definitely will be top in my list, he really is a classy cricketer. One can expect, his best is yet to come and it can’t be a better place than pakistan. The concentration and temperament with which he bats is phenomenal and must be a living example for a juvenile Sehwag. Rahuls record abroad is better than Tendulkers, so no second thoughts on being a man of the series.

Well coming to Tendulker, I can only say his best is yet to come. We all know if he gets going the opposition will be at his mercy. He can cut loose anybody and Shoaib Akhtar had realized that in the world cup game.

One man, Pakistanis must not take lightly is Yuvraj Singh, we know what he is capable of. His batting prowess and his sheer power will amaze the Pakistanis, though Pakistan have got the taste of his batting ability and the ability to stand up tall in the middle when situation demands. Such is his charm. Of course Kaif is in that league, one thing I can say his temperament and fielding will rate him equally good to Yuvraj.

One of the Pakistani player said, that Ganguly is the biggest threat to them because statistics suggest that he has performed well against them. I think Pakistanis are more generous in lauding Ganguly here. They definitely are true to certain extent, such as leading the team was a special job but his batting needs some teaching, especially his attitude towards short ball and leg side play.
