The last few months had been a great period for Indian Cricket Team. There is indian Aussies series with predictable Outcome. Its not at all surprising to see india win the series. This is not something which had happened before. I am not talking about india beating Australia But the mindset and confidence with which we played. Even a cricket following kid is sure this time we will beat them...
Right from the days I started watching cricket in late 90’s there’s an area where india lacked consistently…. That is Consistency. We alike our fellow Pakis are always consistently inconsistent though we had worls best batsmen(India) and Bowlers (Pak)
We could win against the best team only to get beaten by a par/sub par team next match. Win a test and lose other. Come close to winnng (Sachins Captaincy Days). Going to finals to be runner up (Ganguly) and the only time we came close to being consistent was under Dravid and Guru "Greg" we won succesive series aganist srilanka, engalnd comfortably .. to get a trial shock in & against west indies and the Major shock at worls cup same place....
The things have changed majorly after giving the royalty to the Dhoni the man with golden hand or gloves or bat ...everything...
It bginns with The twenty twenty world cup....victory... Is it a fluke ???
The pshychological victory with aussies ....(they won series actually) ...under Mr JUMBO....ofrtified ...
Then the expected test series win with aussies....the bajji-zaheer batting to save the test in the series is not just a turning point of series...but I feel for indian cricket....
Any doubts remember how we pulled the victory aganist england in the first test..( I believe this is the best win we had not aussies nor 20-20 world cup). We called the shots in the series actually to win the first test or to go for a draw second...
I hope indian team have finally got a nice break as well..after the tour with Pakistan got cancelled. Lets see how the future unfolds. As an indian, we have eat sleep drink sleep cricket....
