Very disappointed - pathetic customer experience

I live in Toronto, Canada. I ordered this product as a surprise gift for my mom in India. The delivery was attempted but the person did not mention that this is a paid order due to which my mom got confused that she never placed an order and did not accept it.

Post that I obviously had to ruin my surprise and tell her that it was a Robot Vacum that I had ordered for her as a surprise! She called Croma every day from 17th Dec to 22nd and at the start, she was told that the parcel will come today. She is aged and for the same reason I had ordered a robot vacuum cleaner to make her life easy, she missed her office for two days so that the delivery guy does not go back! One day the person said it is out of stock and it will come when we get it back in stock. If it was not in stock why was she being promised delivery for the same day on call?

Next, she did receive the parcel finally today but it was not gift wrapped? I paid extra for it to be gift wrapped. My whole surprise was ruined and it felt like a nightmare that I ordered from Croma. Think about what customer experience your brand wants to create and what you are doing now! Pathetic, I will go out and tell people to never use Croma ever in their life! She has not used it yet, I am hoping it atleast works.

I shop almost every week online, the worst experience I have ever faced with any of the online retailers. I will definitely post this at other places too so other people don’t make the same mistake of buying from Croma.
