I wish to share my buying experience with cromaretail.com.
I have placed an order for an Samsung Top Load and fully automatic Washing machine(Model WA82BSLEC) on 5th Dec 13 evening around 7 PM. Before placing the order, I had checked their CC for expected delivery time. They told me that it would be delivered within 7 working days. since they have given very good offer(10%) for the purchase, I have placed an order.
Immediately, I received the order confirmation from Croma. when I check the order status nextday, it was mentioned as "ready to Pick". I received a confirmation SMS on 7th Dec13 morning from Croma for service request for Demo and Installation. I was surprised to see it, since Washing machine was not yet delivered to me. on 7th afternoon, Delivery boy has called me for the delivery and landmark for our house. After one hour time, They delivered it to my home.
They opened the box in front of us and asked us to verify the product for damage. we checked and found very very small dent which can not be easily identified. Then delivery boy called his supervisor with this information. They asked me about it. since it is very very small and I thought to ignore it. then delivery man asked us to verify the accessories based on the list. once we are ok with this, he asked me fill the feedback form.
In parallel, he opened the warranty card and entered the invoice details after affixing croma company Seal(Infinity retail Ltd). Then handed over the docs to us and left the house by saying "Thanks".
8th After noon, I received a call from samsung executive for the demo and installation and he arrived to our home in 15 mins time after the call. He fitted everything. We purchased stand and cover from Girias for the washing machine. he has fixed every thing and asked us for the demo. he has given the demo and asked my wife to try everything. once we agreed for comfort of the handling the machine, he gave the feedback form to fill it. we returned the filled form to him again.
Then he informed that he has the washing machine cleaning powder which is used to clean the washing machine and he insisted machine should be cleaned once in two months time. he quoted it for Rs 150(MRP). I bought one pocket. Somehow, he wants us to buy minimum two pockets of it by telling it will not be available anywhere and available only with samsung executives. Now you can get it at MRP otherwise Samsung executive would charge Rs.30 extra as a service charge . We told him that we would get later if required. Then he left the house after giving his mobile number for any kind of machine operational guidance.
Overall, we had very good shopping experience with croma.
