This is related to our worst experience with Cryo Bank International which is a stem cell banking unit in India. We registered for collection of stem cell banking by paying Rs.10, 000. Later due to our personal reasons we sent them a cancellation request even before the baby was born and requested to refund the amount. Its been since June 2014 that we have been following up with this unit to get back our hard earned money. Manager Mr. Thameem who is responsible in the office of Chennai simply tried to convince us saying that there is no procedure of cancellation.
Having claimed that this is an International organization, We really could not believe that there is no process on cancellation. When they sharply proclaim the advance amount from us, there is no proper response for refunding back the same. It is shame to say that such a big organization does not have any process, procedures on tracking these.
We request you all not to go for the Cryobank Intl for stem cell banking. After all, they are not able to refund the amount that we paid and how can be believe in them that our baby’s stem cell will be used in time when required in future., These organizations are very keen in collecting the money but rather completely fail to serve their customers. Shame of them.
