This botanical garden is located in the center of the Bangalore. It’s known for its exotic resources of several species of plants and trees. This park was built during the British Period. The landscaping of the park is very tactfully done so that natural rock outcrops are best used. There are beautiful lawns, hedges and flowering plants and trees. Several Administrative buildings are present within the boundary of the park. Statues of Queen Victoria and King Edward VII is also seen.

This is bang in middle of Bengaluru and still comparatively well maintained. It’s a good fun for kids. Outside vendors are too costly. Hence, it is advisable to get your food items on your own from home or from some other cheaper place. Just for an example, an ice candy worth 10 rupees and with MRP as 20 rupees is sold at the rate of 50 rupees here.
