Inspiring and intriguing, this book could have been a flop but is it not. During the 70s and 80s there were too many stupid movies around the world regarding the "monster dog" subject. Unlike all those rubbish movies still in my mind, I have to admit that this story is written quite well, the inner frailties and stark fears of all characters are perfectly described and to be honest you can feel all this! Of course, is not White Fang of Jack London or The Hound of the Baskervilles, but the plot is ok and also the different twists and turns of the events are quite interesting and unpredictable. Even though I love dogs( I dont like when they are depicted as aggressive animals), I really appreciated this book and now a copy is restingon my personal library at home!
