Nothing says ’Goa’ better than Curlies Beach Restaurant. On the shore of Anjuna beach, Curlies is the perfect’holiday’ restaurant. I say holiday because its not you typical classy, sophisticated restaurant. It is a picturesque shack with a huge head of Medusa perched in the corner and the sea staring right back at you.
Curlies one of ’the’ most famous restaurant on Anjuna Beach. It’s always buzzing with hippies, smoke and some eccentric music. To be honest food is pretty average. They serve breakfast throughout the day and some meals but people don’t visit Curlies for the food.
Curlies is more like a lounge, you buy a couple of drinks(which are pretty good I must say) and you can hang out for a couple of hours and enjoy the scenic view and the soothing music.
Curlies also hosts DJ nights but I highly recommend you attend atleast one of the trance nights. Curlies knows the difference between the two and hosts some extraordinary trance nights.
I would recommend Curlies for romantic dates, night out with friends and also if you are feeling rather reflective and want to spend alone or in the company of strangers, Curlies is your escape.
It is open will wee hours in the morning and is also the perfect place for late night desserts or drinks.
