Well here is how website is taking advantage of vulnerable uses. Uploading your resume on online job portals & getting calls from prospective employers is not a new story. While lacks have benefied from these sites. A website called cvnaukri.com been a accused of pleasing job seakers online. My friend amit is one such person. About a month back amit received message from an organization claiming to be a part of the famous online job portal naukri.com. It has been stated that while they received his basic information from naukri.com he will have to log in through cvnaukri.com to access the services. Amit was paid deposite amount of Rs.2600/- for registration and to avail minimum benefit. He was then asked for his debit card details when he questioned the representative of cvnaukri.com stated that it was for identity varification. What is shocking is what immidiately followed. Minutes after giving his debit card details amit got message on his mobile saying Rs.15000/- had been withdrawn from his account he immidiately interacted with representative of cvnaukri.com. They stated that they will be reimburse but they didn’t.
So guys Please beware from the fake online job portals and fraud job consultancies. Its my suggestion specially for freshers.
