I have been using the D Link external modem 56 k since 2 years. I purchased it for about Rs 3, 300-. Till the time of purchasing this modem, I was always purchasing US Robotics modems which were very costly, on the advice of my computer vendor. However I went in for this modem because I required it as a supplementary modem to the one I was using. Ever since I have purchased it, I am extremely satisfied with its performance. I get very high connection speeds as compared to the speeds I get with the other modems which I use from my other computers. The modem was also very easy to install and does not require any expert to install it. There have never been any breakdowns so unable to say anything about the service.
