D was not known to me until I reached PVR with group of friends and was looking for Mr. and Mrs. Smith but we actually missed the show, since we were half n hour late, hence had no other option but D. The moment I read its RGV production, I thought is it so??!!!, finally settled for D
What is D all about
The introduction of the movie explains that, what is D and what they mean by D, but if we cut it short, D is about Deshu who is Randeep Hooda, a mechanic from Dubai, who is India and was caught in trap with under world and decided to become an underworld guy and how he took over the entire Bombay and Gujarat.. thats it.
was movie a Paisa Wasool?
YES - I would say so, since movie had lot of element actually made it different from other RGV produced movies like Satya, Company and now Sarkar.
The movie initially explains the simplicity of the hero, a scooter, a Zippo, a Marlboro and Rayban glasses thats it, joins a Gang, because he believes that he can do that and rise to the success, proves that yes he is capable enough to do that, and actually thats the way it happens in any industry.
I still remember the two dialogues which I often use in the office these days to my peers-
Kya hain na Is dhandhe main Training nahi, experince ke zarrorat hai
Kya hain na ki, koi Engineer, koi Doctor - apun Gangster
Movie is fast but had a reason for you stick to seats and watch straight to the screen instead of watching here and there, certain scenes of the movie are actually good, the one where he takes revenge for Chunky Pandey that was awesome... I like that scene, I never expected that shoot out. The background music of the movie makes you actually feel, as if you were the part of the movie.. awesome
Some of my friends says that this movie was missing with cool songs and there should have been atleast one professional actor, who could have made this movie going or rather should have a flow --- well I do not believe that. If one knows what Ram Gopal Verma is all about, then do not expect DDLJ or MPK or DTPH from him, he is person who produce commercial movie with a solid stinker on the society, other way round, makes you realize what is happening around you and still other way round, Parallel cinema with commercial profits .. be it Satya, Company, Jungle or D. None of his movie would collide with each other.
anyways I would say RGV rules.. ill watch Sarkar and I have heard its much different movie, thanks for your time..spare some more time for comments and ratings.
thanks
