I am a subscriber of Videocon d2h having two room connection since more than a year. The signal used to go away when there used to be some cloud or rain. This is a common problem with almost all dth. But my problem was that the signal never used to come back or get resumed by its own. I was required to totally switch off the mains supply to the set top box and switch it on again. Then the full booting used to take place and then the signal used to get back.
I have been lodging complain to the service centers and their technician used to attend my calls but they were never able to fix the problem. Then I wrote an e mail to the customer care about this problem.
The matter was then taken up by their local chief engineer/manager Mr.Shreyak Mohanty at Cuttack. He detected the problem and did necessary modification on my roof top. Now the complain is totally gone. Not only that, video con signal remained even when the Airtel signal used to go away while raining.Yes I am also having an Airtel dth in my room.
