Though I like Salman Khan in general, and was eagerly waiting to see Dabangg - which we eventually did just last week, I must say that it was most disappointing.
I was not expecting any great storyline or anything like that but was certainly looking forward to something slapstick and entertaining like Partner, given that Dabangg is a super hit blockbuster. What a disappointment.
We found the movie a bit too violent in many scenes, quite unnecessarily so. Though the songs were entertaining, the overall effect of the movie was nondescript and nothing great to write home about.
I’m happy for Salman Khan that his movie is a hit but very frankly I did not enjoy it except for the catchy music, of course Munni Badnam Hui which is everyone’s current favorite and justifiably so.
Hope you come up with more Partner style movies in future Salman!
