I really like my Cielo. I bought a used car few months ago and have covered approximately 7, 000 kms on it till date -- both city driving and 2 long distance trips.
I was initially a little scared about the sheer size of the car -- it’s quite long. But the car handles very well and is quite stable at high speed. The power steering too is very good and makes the car quite easy to maneuver and park -- very important when you are trying to ease this ’’QE-II’’ of cars into a cramped and crowded parking lot.
What really amazed me was the mileage. I get around 11-12 kmpl in the city and 16.5 kmpl when I drive long distance. As I tend to drive with my glass raised and the aircon switched on all the time, this is really great! I use the Iftex-BPCL ’’System-G’’ additive to petrol, but doubt whether this is the only reason for the fantastic mileage.
My only regret is that as Daewoo has stopped making this car, both spare part availability and resale value are highly suspect.
