Dagdi Chaawl is a marathi movie released a few weeks back.It is a regional movie which has caught eyes of many because of its similarity with the true life incidents.The film stars Ankush Choudhary, Makarand Deshpande and Pooja Sawant in lead roles.Dagdi chaawl is basically a slum area in bycula where mill workers used to stay but now is the home of mafia don turned politician Arun Gawli.
The story is based on the gang war during the 1990’s in the area and the fear of the don amongst the people.Many dailouges in the movie had whistles blown for them by the audience.The cast have performed brilliantly nd the movie has been shot really well.I had to watch each and every shot of the movie and was on my seat the whole time.Every mumbaikar can atleast watch this movie and know the state of people back then.
