Daikin is considered to be one of the most trusted brand among air conditioners.
I bought there 1.8 ton inverter ac few months back and installed it in a 10x12 room.
Its fairly effective in there but when I try to make it more useful for me by opening another door and making it chill another room connected it fails to do so.
Previously I used hitachi 2 tonn ac to do that which was a window ac and I was able to acheive effective results but not with this machine.
It does not trip as it is a inverter ac but gets very warm inside and doesn’t eliminate the humidity and warm air from the atmosphere.
The ac costs me around 38-40k and if its only used for such an short space I don’t think its a value for money product for me or anyone.
Also the powerchill mode doesn’t work by the name. There is no power and certainly no chill in air I can tell you.
The ac looks very ordinary and doesn’t come in any styles or colors to match or enhance your house interiors.
Overall I would say if you want to buy a split ac in 2 ton category then look for other options .
Daikin 1.8 ton inverter ac should be your last option on the list.
