Yet another KUSHTI type of film after SULTAN in 2016 but still it was somewhat different to that. In the story department, Dangal offers few surprises because Geeta and Babita’s historic wins at the Commonwealth Games and following championships are common knowledge. However, this screen adaptation serves as a recap of their arduous journey and it vigorously recaptures their stubborn father’s resolve to make them professional wrestlers against the odds. Since it encapsulates the historic wins of the Phogats, who brought India glory, the film is also bound to inspire more women to seriously consider kushti as a sport.
Sound track and music department in the movie wasn`t that much satisfying but stil it wasn`t bad either. The story lineup was such that, it covered every other aspects of the movie.
All the actors did a tremendous job throughout the film. It has got all the emotions, drama that a great film need to have and top of everything was the script writing and direction, it really adds a cherry to the icing.
Already has shattered all the records and has become the highest grosser ever. And its still running well, lets see what other milestone its gonna reach. AAMIR YOU BEAUTY! TAKE A BOW!
