The film has Aamir Khan in the lead. Period! Need I say more? After the blockbuster success of PK, Aamir Khan is once again back on the silver screen in Dangal. The film is not just about wrestling but also has a true story of women empowerment and Aamir Khan does full justice to his character. He is as real in both of his characters, young and old, as it gets. And it takes courage to play an older character in a film with paunch for the most part of it. For all those who want to see the bulked up Aamir Khan, watch out for the last scene. Since the time Aamir Khan decided to do one movie a time, he hasn’t actually set a wrong foot and this film too has Aamir Khan’s stamp all over it. The ladies who are playing his daughters are very realistic, it doesn’t look like this is their first film. TV veteran Sakshi Tanwar is so realistic as Aamir Khan’s wife in the film. The music and the background score in the film is good too and fits well with the narrative of the trailer. Special mention to Daler Mehndi, his voice in the background gives you goosebumps, just like it did in Mirzya.
