I have watched very few Marathi movies. All of them are well-known and have a deep meaning. Likewise, this movie has a huge contribution towards Saving Nature. Short cut live, it is a revenge story where a father named Babuli takes revenge of his son named Madhava, who has learned that illegal mining is going to happen in a sacred place.
Story:- Simple drama happens every festival, and Babuli, an old man, plays the role of various gods in that. His son, Madhava, has no job even though he has graduated. Living in a small village, having financial issues leads to various things in one’s life. His father tells Madhava to move on to Mumbai for a better job opportunity, but he didn’t want to leave his father in his old age. Hence, a debate happens among them and leads to a conclusion that if Madhava moves on, then Babuli has to leave the drama and focus on his health. They both agreed. A scared village’s forest protector deity, and hence, in order to protect that place, Babuli takes care of everything. Later on, Madhava’s office led to the mining department, and therefore, illegal mining around that sacred place. Madhava was against them; as a result, he was killed by the upper authorities. As for revenge, Babuli started it. He also got a hell of a lot of health issues as he got into a fight and quarrel with the killers. He got special powers from a deity. God arrives in the form of Black Panther and grants him. As an Avatar of Lord Vishnu, Babuli takes various forms of Lord Vishnu and kills every responsible person. On one side, he took avtaar of Varaha(a wild boar god), Matsya(a fish god), Narsimha(a half-man, half-lion god), and Mohini(a woman god). On the other side, the love interest of Madhava and a high society upper-class girl named Vandu is in the spotlight of everyone. Vandu stands for Madhava in every aspect.
Cinematography/Plot:- Animation and the graphics were superb. Not the high one to see that the overacted things seen in the scenes or the very low quality. The majority was done by makeup and looks instead of using too much VFX. Naturally, all scenes were shot, and the storyline was kept as real as possible, without any unnecessary songs or plots.
Conclusion:- A complete thriller and revenge story with respect to natural beliefs. Nature is a very important and essential feature of our daily needs. Referring to or adding it to a godly feature and linking it to mythological stories was the key factor that drove the hype of this movie to a great extent.
