The Datsun Go is the first car released by the Japanese automaker Nissan under the Datsun brand, since it was discontinued in 1986. Named after the "Dat-Go", Datsun’s first car launched in the early 20th century, the Go will initially be available in developing markets such as India, South Africa and Indonesia. It is based on the same Nissan V platform as the Micra/March.
The Go was launched in India on March 2014 and in Indonesia on September 2014

The car has many features in common with the Micra, from which it has inherited much of its interior. The length of the vehicle is 3, 785 mm(149.0 in) and its width is 1, 635 mm(64.4 in), placing it in the small car category. Its height is 1, 485 mm(58.5 in) and its wheelbase is 2, 450 mm(96.5 in).
