Davangere benne dose itself is such a brand name that reminds you of their Aloo smash without onion or curry leaves and the chutney with lots of coconut.
This place is famous for their masala dosas with a different taste as well as for the butter used in making dosa instead of oil.
The taste is really very good and to be frank, the khali dosas have the taste of home made dosas, though not completely, but satisfying.
Their menu is not a big one. It includes khali dosa, benne masala dosa, khali benne dosa, maddur vada, coffee, paddu etc.
There is no place to sit, in fact the place is quite small to accomodate the number of people that visit the restaurant.
You will have to stand and eat. there are 2 tables and a few chairs in the corner to sit and eat by holding the plate in your hand.
You don’t have to worry about the hygiene as they put banana leaf over the plate and on that they give you dosa. So there is no worry about how they would have washed the plate etc.
I woud surely recommend you to give it a try here for the unique davangere dosas.
