I am just analysing David Beckam, his performances, and the reactions of fans to his each and every actions.....even if I am not his fan.....but I surely admire talented players like him.....please don’t stop reading in the middle.....and don’t forget to comment.....
David Beckam, one of the most valuable players in the game didn’t seem to be himself in the Euro 2004. He made mistakes and didn’t learn from it. His personal problems and controversies may be worrying him, but it cost England the match against Portugal as well as the Euro Cup 2004. One perfect shot would have made the difference, but it didn’t happen.
Did the transfer to Real Madrid from Manchester United had something to do with his form? Well, the players are sold like cars and bikes in the league. It is called transfer, but it is only a part of the business, the management decides, according to their profit. Manchester United stood for Beckam as fans were concerned. But now he is a part of the huge stars of Real Madrid. Is he troubled due to the presence of the other superstars Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo and Raul.....hmm, may be not.
Beckam was the one who has given the maximum to Manchester United. Now they may not be able to think about a win against Arsenal for a long time. ’’Bend it like Backam’’ should have been a bit better than what we are currently seeing right now. No other football player may have had more ups and downs in his career other than this man.
Beckam’s free kick against Columbia in the 1998 World Cup was just the beginning of a large number of masterpieces. After becomming the England captain, his performances were worth mentioning in the beginning, but now he has gone down a bit. But he has got the ability to come back (may be).

It was the 2002 Qualifiers for the World Cup and England needed only a draw to reach the World Cup. But Greece seemed to be a better team as after 90 minutes, the score line was Greece - 2, England - 1. The extra time added was 3 minutes and the England were trying their best to do something. It was the last minute and they finally managed to get a free kick - may be their last chance to do something good enough to get them through to the World Cup. It was on the shoulders of David Beckam again and the English football fans in Old Trafferd, about - I mean more than 50, 000 of them were breathless. The ball just bend on its way like a rainbow and got into the net by a wisker and proved the class of this player. He bent the ball, he gave his fans another memorable moment.....

It is the present. The recently concluded Euro Cup and England’s match against Portugal. After the fall of the big ones, Italy and Germany, England managed to stay in the tournament. They got the first goal against Portugal, but got drawn in the second half. Portuguese scored another goal in the extra time, but England managed to get one too. Every one’s eyes were on the captain, the most valuable player of the Engish team. No one expected a miss from the most experienced, veteran player of the English team, especially during penality shoot outs.
All remembered the words ’’Bend it like Beckam’’, but all that happened was that the ball didn’t bend, it was Beckam who did so in agony as it went straight up in the air, nowhere near the nets. That was the beginning of some unlimited flow of criticisms as England managed to lose the match and go back home.....
The difference between a winner and loser is a mere 2 year gap? In just two years, a hero became a zero? Nope. It must not be the case for any player especially a valuable player like David Beckam, a man who held the English football for so many years.....he can’t be a complete loser from just a match.....I am not a Beckam fan for sure, but I can’t disagree or even argue with his ability in the field as a player.....a classic to watch for.....
He has been having wins and losses and his fans were supporting him as well as leaving him at times. It’s not a good tendency to blame a player for one or two bad performances. There is no talented player who can’t come back if he is given enough chances and essential support. For the good of the English football, David Beckam too may be able to come back. He may not have to bent his back again in agony.....if this man learns from his mistakes, he can come back.....analyse your own performance, Beckam.....and think where you have made a mistake.....we strongly believe that we can see the better of you and your shots.....we will wait for your return.....
