This college is the one of the ten best engineering colleges in Karnataka. When you enter the college you will find the parking which costs 5 rs per day by which we can know how the college is expensive. Infrastructure on the whole is neat and beautiful.Only one thing that bothers sometimes is roaming around the campus:its full of slopes and decent, so while going down would be fun, coming up is equally tiring.
Coming to the faculty, DSI has the excellent faculty with sufficient senior professors. Colors are added to the college is by the students which is 60% load of north Indians and rest are from south. Cultural activities are bang on in this college.
