DBS India is one of the worst banks of India. Several reasons. First, their senior management is not easily accessible. Second, if you escalate anytime to them, they will reply some standard essay and close the complaint. So bank decides if customer is happy or not.
Third, they change policy and update their servers. When customer falls into trap, then you need to ask them 1000 times to them to get charges back even if they have taken it illegally and without informing you. Bank introduces charges and conditions at their will. They never bother to inform customers of changes.
Forth, they do not have email or passbook statement. Which means you can only see last 2 years statements on their servers. All your previous data is gone with the wind.
Fifth, their Nodal officers are more pathetic than even peon of some smaller banks. They have recruited some 10th pass candidates and given them Nodal officer positions.
Lastly, they have several times violated RBI guidelines. When someone questioned then they said, ’we are private bank, so RBI guidelines don’t directly apply for us. So we have our own rules.’ This was reply from senior management.
If you open ac and put money in it, it is much more riskier than anything else in this world.
Senior management has zero values, and it totally unprofessional and careless towards their duties.
Writing this review to save millions of Indians from falling into this trap.
Very rarely I write such harsh review. But this time I have to. This review is based on several months of interaction and several complaints made to seniormost management. Totally disappointed with this bank. Thank you.
